From the recording Third Time's the Charm?

In cart Not available Out of stock

The third iteration of a song originally written in high school about Skylab. It didn't quite make the cut on the last album, but after some clean up it's a great acoustic blues tune with a sense of humor. A fun song to wrap up LP #3.

ReverbNation Crowd Reviews: "I really like the bluesy and kind of slow, steady, sensual riff at the beginning. It's kind of a melding of jazz and blues and fusion. It's pretty original and sounds fresh." "This is a great song!"

Lyrics

Late at night looking up at the sky
Count all the space junk that’s flyin’ by
There’s no way of knowin’, where it’s all goin’
I think I should just go run and hide

I’m askin’, I’m prayin’
Don’t let that space junk fall on me

We ruin our land and we ruin our space
The ocean’s a goner, so’s the human race
There’s no way of knowin’ where it’s all goin’
But when we’re gone we’ll surely leave a trace

It should be expected but
Don’t let that space junk fall on me

Half a million pieces flying round the sky
Makes me kinda scared, I cannot lie
‘Cause when they start fallin’, who you be callin’?
There are no Junkbusters standin’ by

I am just sayin’
Don’t let that space junk fall on me
I’m askin’, I’m prayin’
Don’t let that space junk fall on me
