From the recording Living in the Corporate U.S.A.
I think this was the second song I wrote for this album. I have some big problems with Big Pharma from forced vaccinations (don't get me started on this one) to creating a country-wide opiate addiction and the list goes on. Big Pharma is like Big Tobacco on steroids and someday they must be brought to task. (Thanks to Stacia and Ceilidh for the sweet backup vocals and voice overs)
Lyrics
Tell me friend what’s bothering you?
Big Pharma tell you what to do
Seems like the right thing too
Trust big pharma to tell it true
Like all the others you fall in line
If you do, you’ll be feeling fine
‘Cause you’ll be drugged out of your mind
Don’t even know that you’re losing time
Big Pharma, It’s all about the bottom line
Big Pharma, Lobbyists to wine and dine
Big Pharma, Trust in us to tell it true
Big Pharma, BUT we don’t care, ‘cause we don’t have to
They’re more important than you
So vax your kid ‘cause they did too
They say it’s the right thing to do
Trust Big Pharma to tell it true
But listen friends, I will reveal
More side effects they still conceal
Trust in them to lie and steal
And disregard their toxic deal
Big Pharma, When your health’s on the line who you gonna call?
Big Pharma, No questions asked, we know it all
Big Pharma, And we’ve got the cash to tell you what to do
Big Pharma, We don’t care, ‘cause we don’t have to
Got congress in our pockets
We own doctors and the CDC
Try to fight us, see where that gets
We’re exempt from liability
Big Pharma, It’s all about the bottom line
Big Pharma, We’ve got the drugs, you do the time
Big Pharma, Trust in us to tell it true
Big Pharma, We don’t care, ‘cause we don’t have to
So friends please listen up
Next time you pee into a cup
Big Pharma has a lot of drugs so
Trust in them to fuck you up
Big Pharma, it’s a big conspiracy
Big Pharma, they’re in bed with the CDC
Big Pharma, buyin’ off the doctors too
Big Pharma, They don’t care, ‘cause they don’t have to
